Not aware of shipping (or conversion) delays?

I've been using Alibaba for 3-4 years. It was really good. Also for the supplier I have I would ask them to use Ali's website with Ali Assurance - I thought this was a very useful mechanism to avoid the most common problem when trading with Chinese suppliers (excellent and mixed scammers at one place - and so difficult to tell apart, even for insiders). But my last transaction went awry - Ali withdrew Ali Assurance and froze the balance as the cargo was still waiting for a bright spot near the port. For over a year, Ali doesn't even seem to be aware of delivery delays around the world.

As a result, Ali-Assurance is not as effective as it claims - beware!

The seller is on Alibaba. I can't believe the seller is on Alibaba. Really very surprised. I deleted the app. Believe it or not, someone you are interested in when I message the seller I hear about the shipping cost because you can't buy directly...the shipping cost they give....or do you think they charge £60 postage for just 2 cheap pranks that only cost £2 each ?? !!! So amazing that they have a very good price but charge incredible and unrealistic shipping costs that make a purchase impossible. The prices for delivery are also very high. And we also have to pay taxes. Just completely useless. Don't ever go with that again.
